Attention Central KY Master & Journeyman Licensed Plumbers! The Building Institute of Central KY is hosting a very special in-person 6 Hour Plumbers' Continuing Education (CEU) Event on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 8am to 3pm. All CEUs are approved by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction and will feature the following agenda:

8:00 am– 8:30 am: Arrival, registration & breakfast

8:30 am – 10:30 am: Plumbing Codes Update w/ Geno Washington, Plumbing Plan Supervisor, KY Dept of Housing, Buildings & Construction 2 CEU

10:30 am -10:45 am: Break

10:45 am – 12:45 pm: Schluter Systems Presentation “Approaches to Shower Construction” & box lunch 2 CEU

12:45 am – 1 pm: Break

1 pm – 3 pm: Safety Presentation “Jobsite Safety” w/Craig Gipe CSP, CHST Risk Control Consultant, Kentucky AGC Self Insurers’ Fund 2 CEU

3 pm: CEU Certificates issued* & event close

*Attendees must attend the entire event to receive 6 CEU credit at the conclusion.

Registration per attendee is only $25 for the entire event, with breakfast and lunch included! Please register no later than Friday, August 15, 2025 if you plan to attend. This event is open to all Master Licensed and Journeyman Licensed plumbers in the State of Kentucky. LIMITED SEATING.
