RRP Initial (Certified Renovator) Course

The EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule requires contractors performing renovation, repair, or painting activities that disturb painted surfaces in pre-1978 residential properties and child-occupied facilities to follow lead-safe work practices and have a Certified Renovator assigned to each covered project.

The RRP Initial course is an 8-hour EPA-accredited training, which includes hands-on instruction. Upon successful completion, participants receive a course completion certificate that allows them to act as a Certified Renovator.

Lead-based paint hazards and health effects
Job setup and containment methods
Prohibited and restricted practices
Lead-safe work practices
Cleaning and cleaning verification procedures
Recordkeeping and compliance requirements

Calling all Sportsmen & Sportswomen! The 2026 BIA Spring Sporting Clays Event is a "blast!" A popular event for novices and skilled shooters alike, Sporting Clays is another highly anticipated opportunity to get to know fellow BIA Members and have a fun day of shooting clay targets.

The 2026 BIA Spring Sporting Clays Event presented by Clay Ingels is the perfect opportunity to host an employee appreciation day or treat your top clients to a unique day of fun and friendly competition. Get to know your clients! Get to know your team!

Event Details:
The 2026 Spring BIA Sporting Clays Event will be held at the Blue Grass Sportsmen's League (2500 Handys Bend Road, Wilmore, KY 40390) on Friday, April 24th.

Schedule:

8:00am-8:30: Registration for Morning Flight
8:30am-8:45am: Mandatory Safety Briefing - All Shooters Must Attend, No Exceptions
8:45-11:00 am: Morning Sporting Clays
11:00am-11:45am: Registration for Afternoon Flight / Lunch for Both Flights / Games for Both Flights
- Winners/Prizes Announced at 11:15 for Morning Flight
11:45-12:00pm: Mandatory Safety Briefing - All Shooters Must Attend, No Exceptions
12:00pm - 3:15pm Afternoon Sporting Clays
- Winners/Prizes Announced at 3:30 for Afternoon Flight
